We were at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2011, where we participated along 193 countries.
During the last months we’ve had a very positive feedback from users and companies from Japan and that is why wedecided to go to Tokyo where, besides being there showing our games, we presented new projects to japanese companies.

During these first days at the event we were able to start many new projects and we’re negotiating with other companies. We’re proud of representing México in Japan and to show the level and wuality of México’s work, and not only a consumist country, but a talented nest for developing videogame industry.

This august 17th we were in the city of Germany in GAMESCOM, one of the most important videogame conventions of the world, which had visitors from aroubnd the world, with countries like Romania, Luxemburg, MAcao and a special participation from Mexico.

Among the 10 videgame companies from mexico we were presenting titles like Bicentenario 2010: Héroes de México and Zombie Piñata

Ivan Ramirez (Neggi Studio) gave a talk about the “Challenges within the Mexican Game Industry”. We talked about about what we are working on at Neggi as well as a bit about the current
state of the Mexican Industry. There was special attention given towards budding student software developers.

Special thanks must go to Arturo Hinojosa for inviting us and all the professors and alumni that attended. Finally we would like to thank the ITNL (Instituto Tecnologico de Nuevo Leon) for allowing us talk about what we love the most.

Neggi Studio’s latest creation, Zombie Piñata was featured in a popular mexican gaming magazine. The magazine is called Game Master and is available everywhere in Mexico.

Zombie Piñata is an action packed game for the iPhone and iPod touch, fight your way through over 30 stages of pure madness while fighting the now evil piñatas, find their lair deep in the Mayan archeological site and face the biggest zombie piñata of them all: Piñaton!

Something terrible has happened!

The once adorable piñatas have mutated into not so adorable zombies, turning people with their yummy delicious, but deadly, zombie candy. Now all that stands in the way is a group of insane Mexican geeks ready to fight and prevent them from taking over Mexico and turn it into Piñatopia.
